PILOT TRAINING IN VILNIUS

2-day piloting training sessions for teachers were implemented in Vilnius. Participants were introduced with the educational material on gender based violence and had the opportunity to try different activities from 4 modules: Gender-sensitive pedagogy, Resilience, Life Skills and Character education. The training sessions were constructed to encourage teachers to reflect on their attitudes regarding gender stereotypes, to increase their knowledge about gender-based violence and to learn new prevention strategies at schools. It is important not only declare equal opportunities for both girls and boys, but to ensure them in everyday life.
